Passionate about fly fishing and all things 'environmental' supported by a proven professional track record including 40 years plus in public service. Recipient of numerous Government awards for 'Customer Service Excellence' across a wide spectrum of services. Main coaching/Instruction clients are new starters; improvers and those seeking a more 'theraputic' approach (e.g. disadvantaged, mental health or behavioural issues) using fly fishing as a means for respite or resolution, as well as introducing them to a new hobby, pastime or interest.
Home base is usually Halliford Mere Lakes, Shepperton; and River Thames (Chertsey Bridge area) for those with a preference to learn with moving water. Other suggested venues within a reasonable travelling distance also acceptable. Use of equipment, full scripts, session feedback, post-session on-line response and a session DVD are offered as part of the tuition sessions.
Fished in many parts of the globe but particularly well connected with Italian counterparts and I have organised several reciprocal trips to Italy, Slovenia, the Rivers Usk and Wye and English Chalk streams. Accommodation is available and can be arranged in both Wales and Italy.
