The weather leading up to the day had left a lot to be desired; it was still raining heavily with squally winds when I awoke at 0630hrs! Not good news. Thankfully, when I turned up at Gwent Angling Society’s water on the River Usk where the event was being held, the rain had passed and the winds were calming down. Much to my surprise twelve coaches turned up and one guest!
