The Game Angling Instructor Association

Welcome to GAIA, the Game Angling Instructor Association's, website. As the recognised body representing qualified game angling instructors in the UK, GAIA endeavours to ensure the standards of game angling instructors are maintained to required levels, throughout the UK and beyond..

Women in Angling
There is a joint initiative by the E.A and the Angling Development Board (ADB) to encourage more women to take up angling. GAIA is fully supporting this objective and many of our members are organising and running specific events up and down the country where women are invited to “have a go” at fly fishing. All the Gaia instructors involved are fully qualified, insured, have first aid certificates, CRB checked and have attended child protection awareness courses.
